# Get access

Sign in to Curade for the first time with the account a Platform Admin created for you, pick your tenant and set a password of your own.

Curade has no public sign up. A Platform Admin creates your account and gives you a starting password, with a role in one or more tenants. You sign in with your email address and that password, pick your tenant and set a password of your own.

## Before you begin

- The email address and the starting password a Platform Admin gave you.
- Curade, open in a current desktop browser at your organisation's Curade address ([Requirements](https://curade.ai/en/curade/docs/get-started/requirements/)).

## Steps

1. Open your organisation's Curade address in your browser.
2. Type your email address under **Email**.
3. Type the starting password under **Password**.
4. Select **Sign in**.
5. Pick your tenant from the tenant picker at the top of the page.

## Result

Curade opens on the **Dashboard** of the tenant you picked. To set a password of your own, sign out, select **Forgot password?** on the sign in page and follow the link in the email ([Sign in](https://curade.ai/en/curade/docs/account/sign-in/)). If sign in does not accept the email or password, check both. A starting password that no longer works needs a new one from the Platform Admin who created your account ([Common issues](https://curade.ai/en/curade/docs/troubleshooting/common-issues/#sign-in-refused)).
